How we got here

Our journey

1999

Kartik Sourcing is founded in India as a textile sourcing and development company serving global fashion brands.

2000-2015

The company builds a global supplier network across mills, weaving units, dye houses, finishing facilities, and logistics partners.

2015-2025

Kartik expands its sourcing ecosystem to include more than 2000 suppliers and a textile library exceeding 500,000 materials.

2026

Tyche is created as the digital interface to this sourcing ecosystem. The goal is simple: to make professional textile sourcing accessible while still supporting large scale production for brands that require it.

Our capabilities

End to end service

Fabric sourcing and development

Sourcing fabrics from a global supplier network while also developing custom materials aligned to brand requirements, seasonal direction, cost targets, and production scalability.

Research and development

The internal R&D division continuously explores new material technologies, fabric constructions, blends, and finishes that respond to changing fashion and sustainability demands.

Fabric testing

All materials undergo performance testing including color fastness, shading, wash tests, flammability, chemical composition, and durability. Third party testing through Bureau Veritas and SGS.

Quality control

Every batch undergoes detailed inspection before shipment. Up to 27 performance and quality checks may be conducted depending on the material and its end use.

Fabric inventory management

Fabrics are carefully cleaned, packed, and stored in controlled inventory environments to ensure they remain protected from humidity, contamination, and environmental damage.

Supply chain management

Kartik coordinates the complete supply chain including mill communication, production tracking, time and action planning, and shipment coordination.

Logistics and freight

The team manages domestic and international logistics to ensure deliveries arrive safely and on schedule.

Packing and preparation

Materials are machine packed and prepared for shipping to ensure fabrics reach brands exactly as intended and production ready.

Customs support

Brands may choose to have Kartik manage customs clearance or handle it independently depending on operational preference.
